The tune, content, and order of the chanted verses depend on day of the week, season of the year, and the saint feasts of the day. While some of these verses are found in the Liturgy Book, most are in the Psalmody Book. The Raising of Incense service begins from the Liturgy Book with the Thanksgiving Prayer followed by the Verses of the Cymbals.
